Program Description

California Youth Think Tank (CYTT) is an award-winning youth leadership training program that selects and brings together bright and motivated youth from diverse backgrounds, trains and inspires them to become future leaders of their communities, and empowers them to achieve success in college and beyond.  Winner of a distinguished Award of Excellence in Youth Development, CYTT is considered "one of the most effective and affordable programs of its kind in the nation".  Students from over 250 schools and 13 U.S. states to date have participated in this life-changing educational experience.

High School College Residence Program (Grades 9-12)

Selected high school applicants will reside on the USC campus in Los Angeles during their training.  They will receive daily classroom instruction and engage in a variety of challenging activities, that include team debates, panel discussions, field trips, team academic competition, Open Mic talent search, and collaborate with other youth leaders on special projects.
