Program Description

College Prep Academy (CPA) is a comprehensive training program that prepares high school students for admission at colleges and universities nationwide.  Students are guided by college counselors through every phase of the college admissions process, including: essays & personal statements, transcript evaluation, scholarships, financial aid, colleges, majors & career choices, SAT/ACT prep, NCAA regulations.

All CPA training workshops are held on the USC College Campus in Los Angeles on Saturdays from 9:30 am to 1pm (unless otherwise indicated)

2020 Spring College Tour Excursion

The Young Center annually provides guided tours of public and private colleges and universities to offer unique opportunities for first-generation and other college bound students to experience college life and campus culture firsthand.  Participants will travel to various college campus sites, tour campus classrooms and housing facilities, and interact with current college students and counselors.

UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, Cal State University Channel Island, UC Riverside, Clairmont McKenna Colleges, Cal State University Fullerton

Fee: $150

What's included? 

  • Roundtrip Charter Bus Transportation

  • Daily lunch meals

  • Guided college campus tours

NOTE: Charter buses will depart daily from the USC Main Campus in Los Angeles at 7am and return each day at 5pm.
 

Reduced Rates & Sponsorships:

are available for students who participate in a Free & Reduced lunch program or receive a need-based scholarship to attend a private school.
